Yes. I think most them have some sort of connection with the make-work program known as Tenant Duty Counsel.

Thaks for your help Former contributor.
Landlords trying to work with their tenants is nothing new.
Small landlords do it all the time.
The problem is the RTA, LTB and bad tenants DONT work with landlords.
End result is good tenants and landlords suffer.
As for Heron Gate..........I think there is more to the story than we are being told. Tenants can also do ALOT to improve their own apts. Its not the landlord that is leaving garbage around the property.
Vermin and mold dont just magically appear. Cleanliness has a big impact on these factors.
And in the real world if a fridge breaks down on a friday..........a new one may not be installed until monday.
